Need Vitamins?

Early warning signs you need vitamins.

Are you troubled by fatigue, illness or loss of appetite? Experts say you could be suffering from nothing more than a vitamin deficiency.

We Americans are eating a tremendous amount of food but are NOT getting enough vitamins, declares Dr. Earl Mindell, author of the "Vitamin Bible" and the "Anti-aging Bible."

Here are some symptoms to common vitamin deficiencies, according to Dr. Mindell and the American Dietetic Association (ADA).

VITAMIN A: Acne, reduced sense of smell, dry hair fatigue, sleeplessness, rough skin, night blindness and frequent infections.

VITAMIN C: Bleeding gums, depression, easy bruising, irritability, joint pain, loose teeth, exhaustion and slow healing.

VITAMIN D: Burning sensation in the mouth and throat, heavy sweating on the scalp, diarrhea, insomnia and nervousness.

VITAMIN E: Inpaired reflexes, unsteady gait, uncoordinated eye movement, swelling of the feet, dry skin.

VITAMIN B1 (thiamine): Indigestion, anxiety, diahrrhea, poor circulation.

VITAMIN B2 (riboflavin): Mouth and lip sores, lesions around genitalia, dandruff, eye fatigue and lack of hair luster.

VITAMIN B6: Acne, hair loss, pink eye, depression, dizziness, fatigue, slow wound healing and sleepiness.

VITAMIN B12: Indigestion, constipation, fatigue, headaches, mood swings, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, difficulty concentrating and forgetfulness.

Wealth is not just what you have, but what you are. Look beyond the money.

It is a good idea to supplement diet with vitamins and other supplements simply because modern lifestyles, environmental pollutants and other factors make it impossible for us to derive all the requisite nutrients from our regular diets.
